Providing eGovernment services to the public is not as simple as some would believe. Opening up data can make things easier, however it still doesn’t make registering a business or getting married any more straightforward. Governments need applications that run their systems or at least ones that allow information to get into some workflow. Enter self-funded eGovernment. Thirty states in the US leverage a self-funded eGovernment provider to streamline the business side of government.
